To graduate you must complete the following:

To be considered for admission into the program you should normally:
1. hold a Bachelor of Nursing (BN) degree or equivalent, or a Bachelor Degree in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from an approved higher education institution (in the case of registered nurses with senior experience in mental health a diploma may be considered equivalent).
2. hold a current registration or be eligible for registration as a Division One Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
3. have completed 830 hours of clinical practice in an approved mental health service or employed to do this during the program.
Year One of Program
NURS1049 Mental Health Nursing Clinical Portfolio will not be offered in 2018.
All courses listed may not be available each semester. Credit and recognition of prior learning is available for affiliated mental health graduate nurse programs.
Please note the program runs on campus on a Monday and you will enrol into on-campus courses, but the courses are offered to distance students as all lectures are recorded for flexible learning.
