Program Learning Outcomes Statement

Upon successful completion of this program you will have developed the knowledge and skills to enable best practice in property and valuation. As a graduate of this program, you will have developed and demonstrated the knowledge and capabilities necessary to perform effectively the roles required by a property professional, including your capacity to apply high level understandings of the property market to both domestic and global contexts. As a property professional, you will be well equipped to practice across a variety of industry contexts from residential, commercial and industrial construction to civil, environmental and government projects.

As a graduate of this program, you will be able to: 

1. Determine and apply knowledge of complex property and valuation theory to your professional practice and/or further study  

2. Professionally communicate to a range of audiences, demonstrating in depth knowledge of the discipline and of  the needs of diverse property and valuation stakeholders  

3.  Formulate evidence-based solutions to industry problems or issues through the application of logical, critical and creative thinking, and the analysis, synthesis and application of theoretical, digital, human and technical skills  

4. Utilise appropriate methods and techniques to design and /or execute research based or professionally focused property or valuation projects, demonstrating capacity for independent and collaborative learning, addressing real world industry issues  

5. Collaborate effectively within and across disciplines and demonstrate independent intellectual agility and autonomy to solve problems and address industry issues and imperatives

6. Critically examine and reflect on aspects relevant to the profession in both a global and national context, regarding indigenous issues, diversity and inclusion, sustainability and intellectual agility.
