Top of pagePurpose of the Program
The Bachelor of Business (Management) program provides you with critical and broad ranging studies to enable you to enter graduate positions in administration and management. The program provides you with opportunities to develop the required knowledge and outcomes to operate successfully in contemporary environments. You will be able to apply the knowledge and skills gained in the core areas of management in a diverse range of political, social, environmental and economic contexts.
This program will actively explore and apply management theory through problem-based and work-relevant activities which may include face-to-face, online, self-directed, collaborative and individual learning experience and is delivered on-campus.
In the final year of the program, the capstone experience course BUSM4547 Organisational Experience provides the culmination of the knowledge, skills and applied work practice experiences that prepare you to transit into business world.
On successful completion of the program, you will be able to work within a wide range of organisations and industries in varied roles, and career entry positions, such as business administration, management consulting and strategy analysis. The program will provide you with a basis for further development of your knowledge and skills in management, and for further study in business and management.

Semester 1 2023 is the final intake for BP217OSSIM Bachelor of Business (Management).
The Academic entry criteria for the program are as follows:
(a) A completed secondary education in Singapore and has achieved:
- 3 GCE 'A' Level passes; or
- Completed a minimum of 3 H2 level subjects with a pass or above.
OR
(b) Where an applicant does not have a Singaporean secondary qualification, they must meet the RMIT University criteria for their respective country of secondary education study as approved by RMIT, and notified to SIM by RMIT - as listed on the RMIT website under entry requirements by country - https://www.rmit.edu.au/study-with-us/international-students/apply-to-rmit-international-students/entry-requirements
Admission by international students is also subject to the approval of the student pass by the Singapore Government.
OR
(c) An approved Business diploma from a recognised Singaporean Polytechnic where the language of instruction is English.
OR
(d) The Diploma in Management Studies from SIMPL.
OR
(e) An approved non-Business diploma from a recognised Singaporean Polytechnic where the language of instruction is English.
OR
(f) Any other equivalent qualifications or combination of qualifications and experience as assessed by RMIT University on a case-by-case basis.
The English language entry criteria for the programs are:
Applicants who have not obtained a minimum of C or C6 in General Paper (AO/H1 Level) or Knowledge and Inquiry (H2) must provide evidence of at least ONE of the following:
IELTS - Total of 6.5 (with no band less than 6.0);
TOEFL - Paper-Based (PBT) = 580 (TWE 4.5);
TOEFL - internet-Based (iBT) = Overall score of 92, with a minimum 20 in all sections;
Pearson Test of English (Academic) (PTE(A) = 58 (no bank less than 50);
Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) = CAE Grade B (no band less than Good);
Successful completion of a recognised approved Diploma qualification or higher as where the language of instruction was English;

Once you are enrolled as a student in this program you will need to allow for expenses other than university tuition fees.
