Program Learning Outcomes Statement
This program is informed by contemporary understanding of best practice postgraduate education. Upon graduation, you will have a capability to:
1. Lead and manage own work and other team members or individuals within tertiary teaching contexts.
2. Employ appropriate digital skills and theoretical knowledge to design effective learning outcomes, learning activities and assessment in tertiary teaching.
3. Apply analytical decision making techniques to enhance student engagement and learning.
4. Problem solve effectively and apply sustainable practices related to tertiary teaching.
5. Critically reflect on your own work and apply logical and critical thinking in resolving learning and teaching issues in tertiary education contexts.
6. Work effectively and collaborate with others in teaching teams.
7. Operate ethically and sensitively in international and intercultural educational contexts.
8. Critically research, analyse and evaluate theoretical knowledge about approaches to learning responsive to diversity of learners.
9. Undertake research and professionally communicate theoretical positions about teaching practice and effective student learning using educational discourses.
