Program Learning Outcomes Statement
The Graduate Certificate in Logistics Management has been designed to develop the following graduate capabilities:
- Knowledge-specific capabilities: these include concepts, principles, theories, methods and contemporary practices endemic to the logistics and supply chain profession. The ability to contextualise and apply these knowledge capabilities in different situations is emphasised;
- Problem-solving capabilities: the focus is to develop your ability to think critically and creatively and to be analytical, methodological and innovative in approaching problems;
- Generic business and management skills: the focus is to develop capabilities to prepare you to meet the routine challenges of the evolving business environment, in particular circumstances that have a direct impact on the logistics and supply chain industry;
- Communication and interpersonal capabilities: these include interpreting and communicating ideas related to the principles of logistics, discussing and defending opinions and views, working in teams and understanding group dynamics; and
- Socially aware and responsible practice capabilities: the focus is to develop your ability to engage with business activities in socially responsible and ethical manner.
