Purpose of the Program

The Master of Human Resource Management provides you with the knowledge and skills required by today's human resource (HR) professionals to effectively contribute in small and medium enterprises and multinational corporations. The program focusses on HR in a global context - tackling common problems in human resource management (HRM) across borders in various legal and cultural contexts. It will also provide you with the capacity to address the (HR) issues and critically evaluate the impacts of decisions and practice through case studies and interactive and experiential learning activities.

A capstone experience will be provided in BUSM4495 Contemporary Issues in Strategic Human Resource Management and BUSM4448 Business Research Design courses which will give you the opportunity to critically reflect on this program’s curriculum. The courses promote the integration and synthesis of a range of knowledge and skills gained in the program and the application of these in discipline related real-world scenarios.

The program is designed for those who would like to enter the HR industry with no formal HR qualifications.

This program is delivered on-campus.
