Course Description

This unit specifies the outcomes required to manage the factors that might adversely affect multiple projects, the program and organizational outcomes. It covers directing the planning and management of project risks, managing risks to the overall program, and assessing risk management outcomes for the program and the organization

Learning Outcomes

On a successful completion, you will posses a detailed understanding of the theoretical and practical principles involved in the development, implementation, monitoring, review and improvement on directing the planning and management of project risks, managing risks to the overall program, and assessing risk management outcomes for the program and the organization.

Students will posses detailed knowledge Project risk management methods, techniques and develop the tools required to selected and modified risks for project managment and analyse.


Overview of Assessment

Students must demonstrate an understanding of all elements of the competencies in order to be deemed competent.

Assessment methods have been designed to measure achievement of each competency in a flexible manner over a range of assessment tasks.
The unit consist of two Assessment as described;

 
1. Assignment 1: Qualitative Risk Management model that deails the process and shows an understanding of Risk management and Audit of construction organizations’ . Worth: 70%
2. Assignment 2: Industry Knowledge and Implimentation of risk model using "Monte Carlo simulation"  Worth: 30%
