Overview of Assessment

Assessment will be based upon classroom participation and completion of set exercises from the essential textbook on medical terminology, distance and class-based.
Written short response tests

Visual and oral presentations

Participation and discussion on a range of study and practical placement (or workplace) issues and strategies to contribute to best practice.
Performance of elements of competence ,clinical skills involving direct client care as designated for this unit to the required standard during one or more of the following:
Simulated workplace scenarios
On the job off-campus workplace/practical placement

Authenticated Logbook/portfolio with supporting evidence from Supervisor(s) of relevant work experience, formal/informal learning.
