Course Description

In this course you will gain knowledge in producing both rasterised and vector images using industry standard software tools
You will develop the skills and knowledge needed to create and maniputlate 2d graphics and work with these within the Flash environment.

Learning Outcomes

Overview of Assessment

Students are required to complete class tutorial exercises, a proposal presentation and an individual based project,with supporting material. The project will require the student to plan, conceive, and create an animated flash banner that is able to be utilised in online applications. Assessment will be during the semester.

Assessment items include:
a)  4 class tutorial exercises in Flash (5% each)  - total 20%
b)  Proposal presentation and document for Flash banner  – 35%
d)  Major Project – create a published Flash animated banner – 45%
