Course Description

This course covers the skills and knowledge that everyone in the workplace must have in order to work safely. It covers a range of industry contexts involving a variety of different conditions and hazards.

Overview of Assessment

The assessment breakdown will be as follows:
1 x test @ 40%
1 x project @ 60%

Students will be tutored with a verbal and/or written evaluation upon the submission of the project. A final assessment of Competency Achieved or Not Yet Competent will be given at the end of the course when students will submit all completed work and complete the test. A graded assessment will also occur for this course.

To be deemed competent in the course students must demonstrate competence in all Elements and related Performance Criteria.
This unit is delivered in the INDUSTRY FOCUS STUDIO in combination with ’Design industry knowledge’.
