Course Description
The purpose of this course is to provide you with the skills and knowledge to set up, operate and de-rig portable sound reinforcement equipment particularly in a live AV presentation context.

- disassemble and pack up sound equipment
Overview of Assessment
1. Practical assessment covering:
- PA equipment set-up
- PA equipment operation
- PA equipment disassembly, 35% of final course mark
2. Practical assessment of PA equipment operation observed at live events occurring later in the year such as Open Day, School Conference and Visual Merchandising Presentation, 35% of final course mark
3. Open Book Short answer/multiple choice written test covering: 30% of final course mark
