Course Description

In this course you will negotiate with the teacher and industry and complete a minimum of 70 hours (two week) of approved industry placement to prepare you for post-program employment. (Does not apply to International students who will complete alternative assessment activities.)

Overview of Assessment

1.    To demonstrate competence of this course, each student must negotiate with the teacher and industry and complete a minimum of 70 hours (two weeks) of approved industry placement and submit all of the following documents on or before the due date(s). (Does not apply to International students who will complete alternative assessment activities as discussed with the teacher.)

1. Submit completed approved & signed original Practical Placement Agreement form(s)
2. Submit completed Practical Placement Log sheet(s),
3. Submit completed Employer Report
4. Submit written answers to a set of competency questions that will be distributed in class on the topic of negotiations.
