Course Description

This course aims to develop the ability to determine and justify preferred modes of delivery for a range of scenarios in vocational and adult education and training. Considering both teaching and management perspectives there is a focus on flexible, technology-based and blended approaches to teaching and learning. The course will consider issues of program design, development, implementation, maintenance and evaluation for a range of scenarios.

You will be expected to be able to:

• Identify and compare the key features, strengths and weaknesses of flexible, technology-based and blended modes of delivery for teachers, learners and management.
• Select and justify the use of flexible, technology-based and blended modes of delivery in a range of scenarios.
• Apply good practice to the design, development, implementation, maintenance and evaluation of flexible, technology-based and blended modes programs.
• Use appropriate publications to actively engage in contemporary discussions about flexible, technology-based and blended modes of delivery from pedagogic and management perspectives
