MANU2095 Manufacturing Systems

Course Description

This course will offer comprehensive skills in Quality Management that enable you to understand basic principles of quality, standardisation and continuous improvement. It introduces you to the concepts of variation and the methods used in manufacturing and service organisations to achieve consistently high quality. The topics include basic concepts of quality planning and assurance, Statistical Process Control, Design of Experiments, Quality Standards and Six Sigma quality control methodologies.

Please note that if you take this course for a bachelor honours program, your overall mark in this course will be one of the course marks that will be used to calculate the weighted average mark (WAM) that will determine your award level.
