Course Description

In this course you will explore various aspects of technology, communication and spatial research and learn how to apply them in your field of study. In this context technology encompasses all forms of relevant production and presentation.


Objectives/Learning Outcomes/Capability Development

Upon successful completion of this course you will be able to:
apply studio, spatial and technological skills to your work construct, develop and realise concepts of spatial analysis and representation.



Overview of Learning Activities

Through a combination of workshops, site/venue visits, developed project work and discussions you will be introduced to the concepts of place, space and technology in your chosen field of study.

Learning resources will include set readings, industry professional guest speakers, guided studio workshops.

This course aims to embed learning through practical activities and assessment tasks. Assessment may then include specific project work, folios of work (summative or formative), and/or other presented material.
