Course Description
In this course you will build on the knowledge gained in the Graduate Certificate about the theory, practice and applied aspects of your chosen professional practice. You will explore the ethical, social and political issues that surround your field of study at a deeper level and examine how they impact on your own work. This course will give you the opportunity to apply the practical, economic and management skills you have developed to a project in your field of study.

Upon successful completion of this course you will be able to:
apply effective professional management skills to a small project in your chosen field.
analyse and explain the ethical, social and political issues that surround your field of study.
Overview of Learning Activities
Through a combination of lectures, tutorials, site/venue visits, project work and presentations you will explore the various aspects professional practice in your field of study .
Overview of Learning Resources
Learning resources will include set readings, industry professional guest speakers, field trips and site/venue visits.
Overview of Assessment
Assessment is based on the presentation and/or realisation of a small project. As a record of the process your portfolio will be presented for assessment.
