Course Description
Games Design Studio 4 is an intermediate course in game design and development. It focuses on critical design and production practices. You will engage with ideation processes and design iterations both individually and as teams. Attention is placed on how you communicate your ideas and actualise them with attention to the holistic character of the game and team development processes. Technical challenges underpin the course, but your experience is framed around complex creative problems.

Program Learning Outcomes
In this course you will develop the following program learning outcomes:
- Apply game art and game design production methods, in both individual and group capacities, to solve creatively generated problems.
- Demonstrate creativity, critical thinking and innovation when identifying and solving problems in and around game art and design.
- Work with others in a range of roles and contexts, demonstrating cultural, environmental and social awareness and ethical and reflective practice.
Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to:
1. Describe and analyse creative challenges in building complex and holistic game designs
2. Critically engage in game design production practices. to make environments and games more creatively complex.
3. Document and communicate your work in a professional and contemporary manner. within a game development team.
4. Participate in peer review culture, to develop critical thinking, communication skills and feedback to creative work in a studio environment
