Course Description
This course introduces you to the software applications that are commonly used within entry-level employment positions in the fashion industry. Digital engagement plays an important role in fashion enterprise and industry practice. In this course software used will include creative and business applications for artistic and commercial outcomes.

Program Learning Outcomes
In this course you will develop the following program learning outcomes:
PLO2: Apply a range of creative and commercial skills to successfully practice in a range of roles in the field of fashion enterprise.
PLO3: Demonstrate creativity, critical thinking and innovation to identify and solve problems in diverse contexts within the field of fashion enterprise.
PLO4: Communicate using a range of formats and strategies to diverse audiences within and external to the fashion enterprise field.
Course Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to:
CLO 1: Apply specialist creative digital software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator etc for the effective communication of fashion enterprise concepts.
CLO 2: Utilise and apply commercial software such as MS Excel, MS Word etc to analyse business and commercial information for decision making.
CLO 3: Apply Digital applications to create persuasive audio-visual presentations in fashion enterprise context.
CLO 4: Effectively communicate concepts using diverse creative and commercial software to audiences within and external to the field of fashion enterprise.
Overview of Learning Activities
Your learning will be facilitated via a range of in-class and online activities that will require both individual and collaborative engagement. Your classes will be conducted online or on campus. Class activities promote your ability to enquire, investigate, analyse and solve fashion business problems.

You will be assessed on how well you meet the course’s learning outcomes and on your development against the program learning outcomes.
Assessment Tasks:
Assignment 1: Commercial and Creative Case Studies (50%), CLOs: 1 & 2
Assignment 2 – Visual and Data Analysis Folio (50%), CLOs: 2, 3, & 4
