Course Description

People rely on their mobile devices for everything, from communicating and networking, to managing their finances and purchasing products. Therefore, the ability to develop apps, particularly when you have a business or product to sell, is vital in a modern business skill set. Mobile business apps allow businesses to build brand awareness and facilitate return custom. In this course you will be guided through the process of conceptualising an idea for a mobile business app; designing; market testing and revising the app and then developing a marketing model and/or business pitch to launch the app into the marketplace.

This course will draw on expertise from across RMIT, with guest speakers on IT and introductory programming requirements (College of Science, Engineering and Health) and design thinking approaches (College of Design and Social Context) as well as business analytics and marketing (College of Business and Law).
