Course Description
This course equips you with the skills in critical industry-focused research and analysis needed to address sector opportunities and challenges. You will advance your understanding of digital society through a focus on the key role digital platforms play in transforming work and affecting societal change. The course will also introduce you to key issues in digital platforms and communication industry research, such as the rise of gig work, developments in online content production, and the creative industries as a leading sector of innovation and disruption.

Assessment Task 1: Identify Key Concepts, 20%, CLO 1 and 3
Assessment Task 2: Essay, 40%, CLO 1, 2 and 3
