Course Description
This course introduces the normal aging process, lifelong milestones and age associated common clinical presentations. You will be equipped with broad and coherent knowledge that enables you to work in a clinical setting. The course will cover neonates, preschoolers, children, adolescents, adults and the older population. Consideration will also be given to the clinical requirements of the obstetric patient.

- Demonstrate knowledge of the growth and development of the human body across the lifespan, including physiological and psychological milestones.
- Define the stages of human development across the lifespan and implications for clinical practice.
- Describe management strategies for people with specific health needs across the lifespan.
- Communicate the health needs of people from diverse populations to key healthcare stakeholders.
