Course Description
This unit of competency specifies the outcomes required to safely handle and store plumbing materials and to identify and address environmental concerns and associated hazards, including the disposal of waste. It addresses work health and safety (WHS) and environmental requirements to minimise risk to the health and safety of personnel and to the environment.
In some jurisdictions, this unit of competency may form part of accreditation, licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements.

Overview of Assessment

Participants are advised that they are likely to be asked to personally demonstrate their assessment activities to their teacher/assessor. Feedback will be provided throughout the course.

Complete a SWMS document appropriate for the task, sign and submit for assessment.
