The aim of this assignment is for you to demonstrate your ability to source and apply industry information, identify industry laws and regulations and update and maintain industry knowledge. Please refer to the Commonwealth Training Unit in Blackboard (online) to ensure you cover the performance criteria for these elements.
Pick one of the Case Study methods below to complete your assessment:
1. Record an interview with a notable audiovisual employer or employee who interests you. Ensure to discuss; the company and it’s people, it’s role in the industry, company highlights, their client market, day to day business, new technology used by the company and company goals. You must also include information on the laws and regulations affecting the company and its work, including the implications of breaching these laws and how they avoid this possibility in the first place.
2. Review a notable Audiovisual Company describing; the company and it’s people, it’s role in the industry, company highlights, client market and day to day business, new technology used by the company, and company goals. You must also include information on the laws and regulations affecting the company and its work, including the implications of breaching these laws and how they avoid this possibility in the first place.
3. Invent an Audiovisual Company you would love to own and run, describing; the company and it’s people, it’s role in the industry, company highlights, client market and day to day business, new technology used by the company and company goals. You must also include information on the laws and regulations affecting the company and its work, including the implications of breaching these laws and how you plan to avoid this possibility in the first place.
Your Case Study must demonstrate that it is your own work and it must also demonstrate your ability to source a range of information on one person, company or department in the Audiovisual Industry. Please include a bibliography and be sure reference details taken from websites and other areas to avoid plagiarism.
