Details of Learning Activities
You will be involved in learning activities in a day long workshop which will include group discussions and group work activities based on workshop content. You will also be required to undertake independent studies. Reflection on your own work context is a significant aspect of this course and you will be given opportunities to discuss and think about your own practice.

Overview of Assessment
The assessment activities for this course require you to demonstrate your knowledge and application of skills in relation to the preparation,implementation, analysis and reporting of a research plan relevant to community development project work or activities.
Assessment Tasks
You will be required to complete 2 Assessments for this course :
Task 1: Provide a detailed, written research plan describing strategies and methodologies used to gather and analyse the data and information required for your community development project/activities. Your research plan must also make reference to published information you have sought to provide a comprehensive plan.
Task 2: Written report analysing and presenting the findings of your research.
