Course Description

 In this unit you will develop skills and knowledge required to develop communication protocols for a team or business unit.  Workers in this area are responsible for overseeing the communication of organisation-specific information to a range of internal and external stakeholders.


This unit is delivered with CHCLEG003 Manage legal and ethical compliance.  Each unit is assessed separately.

This course will be a blended delivery online via Canvas/Collaborate Ultra with some face to face demonstration of skills and knowledge.

Assessment Tasks

Assessment Task 1: This assessment task has been designed to allow you to demonstrate your understanding of developing workplace communication strategies. The knowledge questions are also designed to support you to reflect on how you can transfer everyday communication skills practically to the workplace and identify ways to adapt tools to suit a range of youth work contexts.

Assessment Task 2: Students must demonstrate their skills and knowledge in developing and presenting a Communication Strategy for the promotion of Organisational information to the community. Students are required to present a simple, clear and effective communication strategy.

Assessment Task 3: Students must demonstrate their skills and knowledge in developing and implementing a digital communication strategy for the promotion of organisational information to the community.
