In this course, you will gain skills and knowledge required to engage young people, analyse service needs of particular groups and develop programs and services to meet those needs.

Assessment Tasks

Assessment Task 1:The objective of this assessment task is to demonstrate your ability to develop an engagement plan to establish networks and develop a service program. For this task, you need to form a team of three to develop a stakeholder engagement plan for a service program you plan to develop. This is assessment is based on a simulated scenario. The objective of the first assessment task is to demonstrate your ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders through preparing a stakeholder engagement plan.

Assessment Task 2: The objective of this task is to demonstrate your ability to develop a program and implementation plan along with an evaluation plan.

Assessment Task 3: The objective of this assessment task is to demonstrate your ability to review service program, partnerships and to suggest and plan for improvements.

Assessment Task 4: The objective of this assessment task is to demonstrate your ability to apply your knowledge of networking and establishing partnerships to deliver service programs.

Students enrolled in Vocational Education and Training qualifications are assessed for Competency. To be assessed as Competent means you have consistently demonstrated the required knowledge and skills to a standard expected in the workplace. To be assessed as Competent in this course, you will need to complete each assessment task to a satisfactory standard. You will receive feedback from the teacher at the conclusion of each assessment task.
