Course Description

This course describes the skills and knowledge required to evaluate and promote diversity in the workplace, and to contribute to the planning of diversity policies and procedures. This may apply to internal work practices or external service delivery.

This course applies to individuals working in any type of leadership role across all industry sectors.

Assessment task 1: Report

Assessment task 3: Short Answer Questions 

You will be given two (2) attempts for each assessment to demonstrate the required knowledge and skills. A third (3rd) attempt can only be offered after discussions between teacher and the Program Coordinator and is not automatic. Resubmissions beyond two (2) attempts are at the discretion of the teacher and/or coordinator.


Assessment Tasks

Assessment Task 1 - Report on organisational diversity objectives

Assessment Task 2: Promote and foster diversity in the workplace demonstrates students ability to contribute to the development of workplace diversity policies and guidelines to foster and promote inclusive work practices.

Assignment Task 3: Short Answer/Knowledge Questions. The objective of this assessment task, is to help consolidate what you have learned during the course and to determine knowledge and skills in relation to managing and promoting diversity in the workplace.
