Course Description

This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge to plan and complete tasks individually or in a team context. The tasks involve established routines and procedures using allocated resources with access to readily available guidelines and advice. Work plans may need to be modified with supervisor agreement to suit changing conditions and priorities.

Assessment Tasks

The assessment is as follows:   Assessment 1: WIL report due 7/3/21   Assessment 2: WIL contract due ASAP. Aim to have the placement organised and assessment completed by 1/11/21 at the latest.  Assessment 3: Workplace logbook must be submitted within 2 weeks of completing the placement. Aim to have the placement organised and assessment completed by 1/11/21 at the latest. A minimum of 10 days work must be completed & verified before submission.   Assessment 4: Workplace report must be submitted within 2 weeks of completing the placement. Aim to have the placement organised and assessment completed by 1/11/21 at the latest.   To pass the course you need achieve a satisfactory result for every assessment.
You will be given only two attempts for each assessment to demonstrate you have the required skills. Feedback from the host employer will also be taken into consideration.   Please consult CANVAS for Assessment Task (AT) details.
