In this course you will learn the skills and knowledge required to link people, ideas and information at all stages in the project life cycle.

Details of Learning Activities

The objectives of this course are to develop your skills and knowledge required to link people, ideas and information at all stages in the project life cycle. Project communication management ensures timely and appropriate generation, collection, dissemination, storage and disposal of project information through formal structures and processes.

Overview of Assessment

Assessment for this course is ongoing throughout the semester. Your knowledge and understanding of course content is assessed through participation in class exercises, oral/written presentations and through the application of learned skills and insights. Full assessment briefs will be provided and can be found on CANVAS.

AT1: Develop a Briefing for the Budget Seminar Project Team - 

  • Presentation for meeting

AT2: Identify and Resolve Communication and Information Management Issues - Role play

  • Your assessor will schedule this task and assess your performance after an assessment by your partner in the role play. They will ask you questions that you will be expected to respond to verbally. 

AT3: Evaluation Report

Research the appropriate CBSA policies and develop a report for Tina Hughes as requested in the above email.

AT4: Undertake a Stakeholder Analysis

Review the CBSA organisational chart and the information provided by Tina Hughes. Using this information, undertake a stakeholder analysis for the project, identifying and analysing the information requirements.
