Overview of Assessment
Assessment for this course is ongoing throughout the semester. Your knowledge and understanding of course content is assessed through participation in class exercises, oral/written presentations and through the application of learned skills and insights. Full assessment briefs will be provided and can be found on CANVAS.
Assessment Tasks
Students enrolled in Vocational Education and Training qualifications are assessed for Competency. To be assessed as Competent means you have consistently demonstrated the required knowledge and skills at a standard expected in the workplace.
To be assessed as Competent in this course, you will need to complete each assessment task to a satisfactory standard. You will receive feedback from the teacher at the conclusion of each assessment task.

Assessment Task 1: Project: This project requires you to develop documents and reports suitable for a performance management system that manages and monitors the performance of staff. Due Week 10
Assessment Task 2: Practical: You will need to demonstrate you can manage the performance of at least two individual staff members and at least one team. Due Week 11
Assessment Task 3: Questions: You will be asked to complete questions on what you have learnt. Answer all 7 questions in the spaces provided. Due Week 12
