Overview of Assessment
Assessment for this course is ongoing throughout the semester. Your knowledge and understanding of course content is assessed through participation in class exercises, oral/written presentations and through the application of learned skills and insights. Full assessment briefs will be provided and can be found on CANVAS.
Assessment Tasks
Students enrolled in Vocational Education and Training qualifications are assessed for Competency. To be assessed as Competent means you have consistently demonstrated the required knowledge and skills at a standard expected in the workplace.
To be assessed as Competent in this course, you will need to complete each assessment task to a satisfactory standard. You will receive feedback from the teacher at the conclusion of each assessment task.

Assessment Task 1: Questions: You will be asked to complete questions on what you have learnt. Answer all 5 questions in the spaces provided. Due Week 7
Assessment Task 2: Project: The purpose of this assessment task is to encourage you to identify and research the skills and knowledge required to plan and operate the business aspects of a sole trader or a cooperative or a contract worker in the creative industry and develop a business plan for a selected creative business structure. Due Week 14
Assessment Task 3: Project: The purpose of this assessment task is to write an industry-standard resume, as well as a to create an online portfolio website featuring visual video showreel to showcase your creativity and a diverse body of your work. Due Week 15
