In this course you will learn the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to practise as a nursing professional within the Australian health care system, providing health care across the lifespan of people in health and community care services and environments.

Assessment for this course is ongoing throughout the semester. Your knowledge and understanding of course content is assessed through participation in class exercises, oral/written presentations and through the application of learned skills and insights. There are three (3) key assessments that you will need to successfully complete in order to be assessed as competent in this unit.
HLTENN035-AT2 of 3: Pecha Kucha Presentation This assessment task is the second of three assessment tasks you need to complete satisfactorily, to be deemed satisfactory for this unit/course. This assessment requires you to research the different nursing theorists that have impacted nursing as we know it today. You are required to create a PowerPoint presentation in a “Pecha Kucha format”. Select one theorist from the list provided, create your presentation using PowerPoint software. Try not to use words on the slides, use few or no notes as you are going to present this in class. No recording is required. Your power point to be scanned and uploaded onto CANVAS as a PDF before the due date in preparation for your class presentation. |

HLTENN035-AT1 of 3: Knowledge Assessment Assessment will be a series of short answer questions uploaded onto canvas using Turnitin. You must achieve full competency for this assessment. This means every answer must be correct after two attempts |

You are permitted to have a maximum of 2 resubmissions for this course. However each individual theory assessment may only be resubmitted once.
