Course Description
Students will learn the skills and knowledge required to develop a narrative or story, which may include a treatment, outline or a storyline, for a screen production.

Overview of Assessment
Three act story line for a feature film 100%
Assessment Tasks
Students are allocated the names of hybrid genres, sub genres or critical categories by the teacher (eg science fiction/romantic comedy.)
They are then required to prepare by research
and then write a three page storyline revealing a working understanding of the narrative components of the allocated genre, sub-genres or critical categories.
This assignment is worth 90% of the overall mark.
Class exercises are worth 10% of the overall mark.
