Course Description

This unit covers developing strategies to address environmental and sustainability issues in the energy sector. It encompasses working safely, apply extensive knowledge of sustainable energy systems and components and their operating parameters, gathering and analysing data, applying problem solving techniques, developing and documenting alternatives solutions.

Cluster Information:
This course is delivered in a cluster (Electrical Project 1) in conjunction with UEENEEE015B (EEET6740C), UEENEEE124A (EEET6996C) and UEENEEE011C (OHTH5737C). You must enrol in all four courses delivered in this cluster. All the learning and assessment activities will include the components of all competencies UEENEEE015B (EEET6740C), UEENEEE124A (EEET6996C), UEENEEK132A (EEET7031C) and UEENEEE011C (OHTH5737C). Overview of Assessment

The assessment is conducted in both theoretical and practical aspects of the course according to the performance criteria set in the National Training Package. Assessment may incorporate a variety of methods including written/oral activities and demonstration of practical skills to the relevant industry standards. Participants are advised that they are likely to be asked to personally demonstrate their assessment activities to their teacher/assessor. Feedback will be provided throughout the course. To successfully complete this course you will be required to demonstrate competency in each assessment task detailed under Assessment Tasks:

Assessment Due Dates

All assessment tasks will have a due date provided and published in Canvas. Assessments submitted after the due date will not be accepted unless an extension has been provided or special consideration has been granted. 

Assessment Resubmissions (if Unsatisfactory)

You will be allowed 1 (ONE) resubmission attempt FOR EVERY ASSESSMENT (if unsatisfactory). You will be provided with a new due date by your teacher for your resubmission attempt if a resubmission is required.
