You are to customize the form of the registration rims prior to recording the jaw relationships and occlusions for at least 4 different patients with requirements.
– You are to complete 2 patients for Mx and Md registration rim customized to form maxillary and mandibular dentures and to established and record the jaw relationships and occlusion.
-- You are to complete 2 patients for denture registrations, 1 of which must be a partial denture for each patient (full details in Assessment Task Instructions).
You will also be required to selected appropriate shade and mould for artificial teeth for each patient.
Students enrolled in Vocational Education and Training qualifications are assessed for Competency. To be assessed as Competent means you have consistently demonstrated the required knowledge and skills at a standard expected in the workplace.
