Course Description
This unit describes the skills and knowledge to apply specific communication techniques to establish, build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders based on respect and trust.
This unit applies to work across a range of workplace contexts where workers at all levels may communicate with individuals and/or groups both in person and in writing.
The skills in this unit must be applied in accordance with Commonwealth and State/Territory legislation, Australian/New Zealand standards and industry codes of practice.

To be deemed competent you must demonstrate an understanding of all aspects required of the competency. Assessment methods have been designed to measure your achievement of each competency in a flexible manner over multiple tasks.
Assessment Tasks
- Treatment review assignment due: 4th March 2018 to be completed in clinic after post treatment final written submission via Canvas
You will be required to perform a full Myotherapy treatment within clinic, ask your clients to answer a questionnaire and answer a few questions once you have received feedback from the client and clinic supervisor. For further information please refer to your assessment tool on blackboard.
- Facilitate resolution & workplace meeting assignment: 7th June 2018 verbal presentation and final submission via turnitin on Canvas
Your will be required to work within a group setting and to set up a meeting to discuss feedback that has been undertaken via a client survey and other operational areas of concern. For further information please refer to your assessment tool on blackboard. Each group will be given a presentation time closer to the date.
