This course describes the skills and knowledge required to originate and develop concepts for products, programs, processes or services to an operational level.

Overview of Assessment

Assessment for this course is ongoing throughout the semester. Your knowledge and understanding of course content is assessed through participation in class exercises, oral/written presentations and through the application of learned skills and insights. Full assessment briefs will be provided and can be found on CANVAS.


Assessment Tasks

Students enrolled in Vocational Education and Training qualifications are assessed for Competency.  To be assessed competent means you have consistently demonstrated the required knowledge and skills at a standard expected in the workplace. To be assessed as Competent in this course, you will need to complete each assessment task to a satisfactory standard. You will receive feedback from the teacher at the conclusion of each assessment task.

In this assessment task, you will undertake a briefing session, research preproduction, production and an evaluation of the project.

AT3 Music inspired Animatic & Motion Graphics sequence

You will complete an Animatic and a Motion graphics sequence inspired by a piece of music.

AT4 Create dynamic typographic motion graphics sequence

Create a motion graphic sequence that features Kinetic Typography, based on a piece of original or copyright free text, music or sound design.
