Course Description
This course describes the skills and knowledge required to independently conceive, plan and realise professional graphic design work to meet the demands of complex communication challenges and graphic design briefs. This involves creating and applying graphic design concepts that adhere to creative and technical requirements.

Assessment Tasks
Students enrolled in Vocational Education and Training qualifications are assessed for Competency. To be assessed competent means you have consistently demonstrated the required knowledge and skills at a standard expected in the workplace. To be assessed as Competent in this course, you will need to complete each assessment task to a satisfactory standard. You will receive feedback from the teacher at the conclusion of each assessment task.
AT01 Design and research a graphic project
You will work with the client and produce a graphic design solution to meet the demands of a complex brief. In the process, you will analyse the project requirements, plan and manage the stages of the project, work in teams to refine ideas, research concepts, technologies and similar designs then deliver a presentation of your final refined design.

You will work with the client and produce a graphic design solution to meet the demands of a complex brief.
