Course Description

In this course you will gain the essential skills and knowledge required to identify, document and apply work health and safety (WHS)/ occupational health and safety (OHS) hazard and risk control measures associated with electrotechnology work. This will involve: 

  • identifying workplace hazards
  • determining and assigning levesl of risk 
  • developing control measures eliminate/ reduce risks 
  • reviewing risk control measures 
  • maintaining documentation of hazards
  • adhere to compliance procedures

This course is delivered and assessed with the following: 

  • UEERE0013 - Develop strategies to address environmental and sustainability issues in the energy sector
  • UEEEC0017 - Develop engineering solutions to analogue electronic problems; and
  • UEEEC0014 - Design signal-conditioning sub-systems

Pre-requisite Courses and Assumed Knowledge and Capabilities

Pre-requisite unit: UEECD0007 - Apply work health and safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace
