Course Description
This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to plan large electrical projects.
It includes preparing and developing project plans for approval. It also includes establishing budgets and critical path analysis; developing workflow strategies; and documenting, presenting and negotiating budgets and timelines.

You will be involved in the following learning activities to meet requirements for the five clustered competencies (UEECD0059, UEEEL0058, UEEEL0015 and UEECD0017), and stage 1 competencies for Engineering Associates.

Cluster Information:
This course is delivered in a cluster (Electrical Project 2) in conjunction with UEECD0059(BUSM8928C), UEEEL0058 (BUSM8930C), UEEEL0015(BUSM8929C) and UEECD0017(EMPL9814C). You must enrol in all four courses delivered in this cluster.
All the learning and assessment activities will include the components of all competencies UEECD0059, UEEEL0058, UEEEL0015 and UEECD0017.

Overview of Assessment
The assessment is conducted in both the theoretical and practical aspects of the course, following the performance criteria set in the National Training Package.
Assessment methods may encompass a variety of approaches, including written and oral activities, as well as the demonstration of practical skills aligned with
relevant industry standards. Participants should be aware that they may be asked to personally demonstrate their assessment activities to their teacher or assessor.
Feedback will be consistently provided throughout the course.To successfully complete this course, you will be required to demonstrate competency in each assessment
