Course Description
This course covers the installation of protection devices, switchgear and controlgear, appliances and luminaries and intended to operate at voltages up to 1,000 V a.c. or 1,500 V d.c. It encompasses working safely and to installation standards, matching equipment with that specified for a given location, placing and securing equipment accurately, making required circuit connections and completing the necessary installation documentation.
