Course Description
This unit of competency specifies the outcomes required to install an on-site effluent disposal system from a domestic treatment plant.
In some jurisdictions, this unit of competency may form part of accreditation, licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements.

Assessment Tasks
Theory Assessment 1 - Students are required to complete written worksheets from Pearson’s Drainage,
under pinning questions and SWMS from workbook. 40% weighting.
Practical Assessment 2 - Successful installation of 3 on-site disposal systems identified as Practical
Jobs 37,38,39 in student workbook. 60% weighting.
