Course Description
In this course you will learn to perform fundamental soldering techniques on a range of components and connections used in the AV industry.
Skills and knowledge you will develop include:
• The soldering process
• Soldering iron selection
• Soldering techniques for printed circuit boards
• Soldering techniques for connectors
This course will address the following Performance Criteria from the unit of competency Repair and Maintain Vision Systems (B), CUEAUD1B: 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 2.2, 23., 2.5, 2.6
