This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to plan documents, draft text, prepare final text and produce documents of some complexity.

Learning Outcomes
Learning outcomes will allow the student to demonstrate the following:

• Production of documents which meets the information needs of the target group.

• Range of presentation aids and materials available to support presentations

Assessment includes:
Written practice exercises (Weekly activities)
Portfolio of work (Compilation of written work)
Students are advised that they are likely to be asked to personally demonstrate their assessment work to their teacher to ensure that the relevant competency standards are being met. Students will be provided with feedback throughout the course to check their progress.
