Course Description
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to promote teamwork. It involves developing team plans to meet expected outcomes, leading the work team, and proactively working with management of the organisation.

Overview of Assessment
Critical aspects of assessment and evidence required to demonstrate competency in this unit are:
A teamwork plan with details of how it was generated and how it will be monitored so that team goals can be met
Techniques in communicating information, dealing with team conflict and resolving issues
Knowledge of organisational goals, objectives and plans.
Assessment Tasks
Assessment tasks in this course are either formative or summative. Formative tasks provide the basis for ongoing feedback and can be considered as essential building blocks for the more substantial summative assessment tasks. summative assessment tasks in this unit are graded

To demonstrate competency in this course, you will need to complete each one of the following pieces of assessment to a satisfactory standard. You will receive feedback on all assessments and a grade for the summative assessment.
Please be aware that assessment for this competency is linked to the assessment for Implement Lighting Designs PERF5064C and Mix Sound Sources VART5970C.
Formative Assessment
1. Planning work: documentation and discussion with teacher
You will devise your groups, and then prepare for your assessments for Lighting in Team class time. You are then expected to discuss the outcomes, cohesion, participation and facilitation of your team with your teacher in your group. This includes documentation such as your team members’ roles and responsibilities. The planning work is to be completed during Weeks 3 & 4 with the presentation and documentation is due in TAFE Week 14.

You are then expected to discuss the outcomes, cohesion, participation and facilitation of your team with your teacher in your group. This includes documentation such as your team members’ roles and responsibilities. The planning work is to be completed during Weeks 5 & 6 with the presentation and documentation is due in TAFE Week 16.
Summative Assessment
3. Practical work.
The teamwork skills demonstrated on the Lighting and Mix Sound summative assessments.
