This unit covers sourcing and purchasing/ordering materials/parts for installation or service jobs. It encompasses following job specification, using manufacturer’s catalogues, making telephone, internet or email enquiries, selecting compliance materials and completing the necessary purchasing documentation. Note: In the unit the value of materials for installation jobs is limited to $20k.
