This unit will be assessed using a combination of in-class tasks, individual assignments and practical work placement. In addition to class work, students are required to demonstrate competency in this unit as part of their placement requirement.

During your practical placement what were some of the issues impacting on clients and what services were they referred to.
Provide an example of the referral process used in one of your placement agencies
And how is the effectiveness of a referral evaluated
Your answer must demonstrate an understanding of how an agency works with its clients to assess their needs and provide effective support in a holistic way.
