Course Description
This course provides you with the skills and knowledge required to source and organise information to assist you to development art concept in the production of work. In this course you will gain an understating of the creative process and in practice, realise the production of work to support folio creation. This work would usually be carried out under supervision.
You will learn the skills required to articulate the creative process and have some communication with others about the development process. This course assists you with understanding concept development that encompasses ideas, form and context for the work.
The course will focus on you as an artist being able to manage your own work and understanding OH&S legislations and processes that underpin all art practices.

Overview of Assessment
Assessment for this course is on going throughout the semester. Your knowledge and understanding of course content is assessed through completion of a body of work that demonstrates concept development, understanding of materials and adhering to the guidelines of working in a studio.
