Course Description
This course deals with skills needed within the Information Technology workplace, including ability to:
• promote professional client support through verbal and non-verbal communication
• work individually, and with others, in an organisation
• formulate and implement small service level agreements
• define and document reference material to use, support and maintain systems.

Overview of Assessment
Assessment will incorporate a variety of methods including client requirements documentation, homework and in class exercises, written tests, practical problem solving exercises and practical tests. Students are advised that they are likely to be asked to personally demonstrate their assessment work to their teacher during class exercises to ensure that competency standards are being met. Regular feedback on work will be provided to learners during the course.
