Course Description
This course covers computer aided design and management systems in the TCF industry. The following programs are covered: Excel, Access, Illustrator, Photoshop and the Internet.

Learners need to demonstrate by means of a range of assessment tasks that they can:
1. Create and execute macros to ensure consistency of design and layout of documents. 15%
2. Use dialog boxes, structured programming and controls to enhance macros within word-processed documents and spreadsheets. 15%
3. Create and use templates for enterprise document requirements. 5%
4. Prepare spreadsheet files for financial management planning purposes. Produce printed reports according to enterprise standards. 5%
5. Use a range of advanced formula and functions to ensure the accurate completion of tasks within designated timelines. Apply the use of functions and controls in spreadsheet models. Insert information into documents and checked for accuracy and layout. 10%
6. Use commercially available digital imaging processing hardware and software to edit captured images. 25%
7. Produce garment images, designs and illustrations from design briefs according to enterprise standards. 25%
